"The most downloaded free app on both the App Store and Google Play for much of the last two months wasn’t TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, but a shopping app that didn’t exist just four months ago.

Temu offers steep discounts on a slew of products, mostly shipped directly from Chinese factories or warehouses. In addition to incredibly low prices, Temu can no doubt attribute its popularity to its strategy of giving free stuff to users who promote the app on their social networks and get friends and family to sign up.

But the company—the U.S. offshoot of Chinese e-commerce giant Pinduoduo—is also starting to develop a reputation for undelivered packages, mysterious charges, incorrect orders, and unresponsive customer service. Temu has already been subject to more than 30 complaints to the Better Business Bureau, and has a BBB customer rating of less than 1.5 stars."

THAT SAID

Being very skeptical after reading the article above and visiting the Temu site to view the prices, I decided to give it a shot since the majority of my purchases from other locations came from China anyway. I joined Temu Sept 3, 2023 and have already purchased numerous items for a fraction of the price listed elsewhere. (with more in my cart) I BECAME ADDICTED, buying THINGS THAT I WANT but can't afford on other sites before the bubble bursts.

It does take some time to get my orders to allow them to save on postage. When one of my orders didn't arrive by the date indicated, I received a $5.00 credit. When small inexpensive items were missing in two of my orders, I requested refunds which were credited back to my Paypal account in two days, no questions asked. (I am not willing to share confidential information, so l always use Paypal.)

I BECAME SO SATISFIED that I signed up as an affiliate to receive even larger discounts and free stuff. You may want to visit their website, look around and judge for yourself. If satisfied, download an app to browse at your convenience.
